Cytosol Video Reports
CytoSolâ„¢ BioSolvent is based upon vegetable oil and is specially formulated for use in shoreline restoration following oil spills or in soil remediation from oil contamination. The following videos provide visual examples in the use of CytoSolâ„¢ BioSolvent in the field. The product has been in use for several years and has gained recognition as a product effective in lifting and floating oil from surfaces making the oil available for recovery with skimmers and oil absorbent materials.

ABC News interviews Dr. Randall von Wedel on the nature of the crude oil from the BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Dr. von Wedel is evaluating the characteristics of the weathered crude oil in his Point Richmond Laboratory. There he describes the options available to remove weathered crude from surfaces rather than dispersing the oil into the water. Recovery is the key.
