ABC News interviews Dr. Randall von Wedel on the nature of the crude oil from the BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Dr. von Wedel is evaluating the characteristics of the weathered crude oil in his Point Richmond Laboratory. There he describes the options available to remove weathered crude from surfaces rather than dispersing the oil into the water. Recovery is the key.
